Chris Brown Pleads Not Guilty to Attacking Rihanna

Chris Brown has pleaded not guilty to two felony charges of attacking pop singer Rihanna and making criminal threats against her, stemming from their Feb. 8 altercation.
Arriving in all black and showing very little emotion, Brown was accompanied by four bodyguards and his mother, Joyce Hawkins, to the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in Los Angeles Monday.
Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, is working on a plea deal with prosecutors that will include no jail time. If convicted of both charges, however, Brown could face up to four years and eight months behind bars.
Brown will return to court April 29 for the next hearing.
