Chris Brown Accused of Battery

R&B singer Chris Brown is under investigation for alleged felony battery.

“There was an incident at 12:30 this morning after the Clive Davis‘ Grammys Party,” E!’s Ken Baker just announced on the 2009 Grammys Red Carpet Pre-Show. “Brown and another female were allegedly in a limousine, got into a fight, and it escalated.” 

Baker says that the woman was unidentified, but Brown was reportedly with Rihanna at the 2009 Grammy Salute to Industry Icons honoring Clive Davis last night. The woman had visible injuries when she told her story to police, also naming Chris Brown as a suspect. 

The case is currently under investigation by the LAPD.

Update: Neither Rihanna nor Chris Brown, both nominated and scheduled to perform, will be attending the 2009 Grammys tonight.

Whitney Houston to Launch Comeback

Music mogul Clive Davis has predicted that Whitney Houston‘s performance at his Grammys party Saturday will be one that launches her comeback.

Davis spoke about new music Houston is working on, namely a song called “I Look to You” with R. Kelly and a solo ballad, “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength.” You can expect to hear these songs on the radio shortly after the big performance!!

Any guesses on what she’ll perform???
