Alicia Keys, John Mayer Perform at Keep A Child Alive

It’s a great night to be a New Yorker!!

Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Halle Berry, David Bowie, Iman and Coldplay all gathered at the Hammerstein Ballroom Thursday night to attend Keep A Child Alive’s 6th Annual Black Ball, which provides therapy for children with HIV/AIDS and their families.

So awesome!

Coldplay’s Free Live Album

Coldplay is giving away a free live album at each show for the rest of the year, a post on their official site confirms.

The nine-track record, titled LeftRightLeftRightLeft, will feature tunes recorded live over the last year of the Viva La Vida tour.

“Playing live is what we love,” the post explains. “This album is a thank you to our fans – the people who give us a reason to do it and make it happen.”

No Doubt to Kick Off Today Show Summer Series

NBC’s1 14th annual summer concert series is notorious for bringing in the big names (see Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Miley Cyrus), but this year’s lineup packs the biggest punch yet!!

Starting with No Doubt‘s first live concert in five years on May 1, the 18-week series will include performances by Fall Out Boy, Taylor Swift, Dave Matthews Band, Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry, Flo Rida, Kings of Leon and many, many more!!!!

The lineup for this year’s second annual All Points West Festival has been announced.

And things are looking good!!

Headlining the three-day festival (July 30th to August 2nd at New Jersey’s Liberty State Park) are Beastie Boys, Tool and Coldplay. But check out a full list of the lineup:

After what appears to have been a very exciting meeting with daughter Apple‘s favorite band The Wiggles, Chris Martin decided to cover their song “Fruit Salad” at a Sydney concert in front of 21,000 people.

Coldplay Extend Viva La Vida Tour

Perhaps borrowing a page from the book of Michael Jackson, Coldplay have added dates to their Viva La Vida tour, now totaling 24 cities in North America.

The tour will kick off May 15 in West Palm Beach, FL and close June 20 in Vancouver, BC.
