David Archuleta Announces Christmas Tour

In what has to be the most awkward YouTube video ever, David Archuleta has announced a Christmas tour to sync up with his forthcoming record, Christmas From The Heart, out tomorrow.

The tour will be “a mix of some of my original songs that you guys are familiar with along with some Christmas stuff,” Archuleta says, with a lot of pausing and nervous energy.

Lil Rounds, Anoop Desai Axed on Idol

As Simon Cowell reminded us last week, Matt Giraud‘s save would result in two eliminations this week. Those eliminations ended up being Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai.

Following a performance by season seven winner David Archuleta and group performance that included a Paula Abdul dance routine, the top five were announced:

Adam Lambert, Alison Iraheta, Kris Allen, Danny Gokey and Matt Giraud.
