Death Cab for Cutie fans who couldn’t get enough of the band’s latest record, Narrow Stairs, are in luck!
The band has revealed that they will release an EP titled The Open Door later this year, which will feature four extra songs that were originally recorded for Stairs.
Says bassist Nick Harmer:
“It’s not like their castoffs or anything; they’re part of the Narrow Stairs experience. There’s going to be four songs on [the EP], plus the original version of ‘Talking Bird’ that features Ben [Gibbard] singing and playing the ukulele.”
