December 10, 2009Elton John’s Last Stand
April 24, 2009It’s been five amazing years, but Elton John finally played his last Red Piano show at Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace Wednesday night.
We knew this day would come, we just didn’t know it would come so soon!!!
“I really have enjoyed every single moment of this engagement,” John told the final audience, before diving into the show’s opener “Bennie and the Jets.” John continued with his biggest hits throughout the night, including “Rocket Man,” “Candle in the Wind,” and a finale of “Your Song.”
“One day I might even see you in Vegas, OK?” John said, before walking offstage.
“But until then, I love you.”
Leona Lewis Earns $1 Million for Birthday Party Performance
March 19, 2009Leona Lewis is having the best day ever!
The 23-year-old performed seven songs at the birthday party of billionaire John Caudell’s 21 year-old daughter Wednesday night, and earned herself a $1 million paycheck!!
Not bad!!!
Caudell owns Phones4U, one of the largest independent mobile phone retailers in the UK, and has a history of hiring singers to perform at his special events. Two years ago, he paid Diana Ross $250,000 to sing at his girlfriend’s 40th birthday party.
We’d love to see who performs if and when they get married!
