“When the economy goes to shit, entertainment is the one steady,” says Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx ever so eloquently. “That and alcohol.”
Sixx, along with the rest of the Crue — Vince Neil, Tommy lee and Mick Mars — hit Fuse TV Monday in New York with some sexy nurses to announce the lineup of Crue Fest 2, which kicks off July 19 in New Jersey.
Joining the boys will be Godsmack, Drowning Pool, Theory of a Dead Man and Charm City Devils.
“Ozzfest paved the way for us to think about what we wanted to do in the future, and I’m excited to see that it’s had its run and it did what it did for a lot of fans,” Sixx added. “Hopefully, we can do the same thing.”
