We heard a snippet of the new Timbaland/Katy Perry track last month at Timbaland’s album release party, but upon a full second listen, we love it!!

The track sounds like what you’d expect from Timbaland – hypnotic chorus, seductive beats, Autotune-heavy verse – plus the beauty and charm of Ms. Katy Perry!

American Idol Premiering Jan. 12

American Idol‘s ninth season will be premiering on Fox January 12 with a two-night, four hour episode. The premiere will feature auditions from Boston and Atlanta.

As you may know, Ellen DeGeneres will be replacing Paula Abdul as a judge. But DeGeneres is not alone!

Victoria Beckham, Joe Jonas, Neil Patrick Harris, Mary J. Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne and Shania Twain have all been confirmed as audition judges for season nine!

Can’t wait!

Katy Perry Bounces Through "Waking Up in Vegas" at Today Show Concert

“Can I say bitch?” asks Katy Perry. It’s not quite nine in the morning, and the pop starlet is at soundcheck for her first Today Show performance of the day: triple platinum hit “Hot N Cold.”

The line at question? “You PMS like a bitch/I would know.” (She later opts to scream it into the mic during the live performance.)

Perry bounced her way through all of her hits in a one-sleeved, sequined red dress with various dice Friday morning, including breakthrough jam “I Kissed a Girl,” “Hot N Cold,” “Thinking of You” and the outfit-coordinated “Waking Up in Vegas.”

“Everyday is Halloween for me,” she later explained to Matt Lauer, of her outfit choice.
