Video: Kelly Clarkson Fires Her Guitarist During Performance

This is one of the most ballsy moves we’ve seen in some time!!!

A video of Kelly Clarkson firing former guitarist Dwayne Leary during a 2005 concert in Portland has surfaced – and it’s MF amazing!

Leary makes a motion to the crowd that Clarkson doesn’t like during a performance of “A Moment Like This” (at the 00:57 mark), and she proceeds to fire him (at the 1:22 mark). She even incorporates the incident into the lyrics!

“Tonight is Dwayne’s last night cause he just got fired!” Clarkson sings, during the chorus.

Clarkson then addresses the incident in a speech to her fans (at the 2:48 mark), citing, “I’m gonna pray for you Dwayne cause you’re gonna need it! You’re gonna need it when I get off this stage! Cause nobody, nobody messes with my fans! Am I right?”

Love this girl!

Kelly Clarkson Takes Central Park

Decked out in all black and a shiny leather top, Kelly Clarkson took center stage Friday morning in Central Park for the Good Morning America concert series on ABC!

Clarkson belted out her latest hit, the controversial “Already Gone,” along with power jam “Walk Away,” and a special version of “Since U Been Gone” for the crowd.

Idol Eliminates Jasmine Murray, Jorge Nunez; Announces New Judges’ Veto

It was a bittersweet night on American Idol Wednesday, as America said goodbye to hopefuls Jasmine Murray and Jorge Nunez, but got to watch killer performances by Kanye West and Kelly Clarkson.

Other excitement came when the judges announced a new rule: a one-time veto by the judges that will “save” one contestant after they are voted off by viewers. The decision will be unanimous by the panel, and two singers will be eliminated the following week.

The judges are really taking charge this season!

Between the new “Judges’ Save” and the Top 13, they’re really taking the show into their own hands!

Kelly Clarkson Dominates Women’s World Awards

She may not know how to dress for her body type, but Kelly Clarkson rocked it at the Women’s World Awards in Vienna, Austria Thursday!

After earning the World Entertainment Award, Clarkson performed her comeback hit “My Life Would Suck Without You” for the thousands in attendance.
