American Idol Premiering Jan. 12

American Idol‘s ninth season will be premiering on Fox January 12 with a two-night, four hour episode. The premiere will feature auditions from Boston and Atlanta.

As you may know, Ellen DeGeneres will be replacing Paula Abdul as a judge. But DeGeneres is not alone!

Victoria Beckham, Joe Jonas, Neil Patrick Harris, Mary J. Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne and Shania Twain have all been confirmed as audition judges for season nine!

Can’t wait!

Lady GaGa Performs at Vevo Launch

On Tuesday night, YouTube and Universal Music Group visited New York’s Skylight Studio to celebrate the launch of lovechild Vevo, a high-quality music video streaming site that Universal, EMI and Sony have tapped into.

And what celebration would be complete without a leg-on-the-piano performance by Lady GaGa??

GaGa performed, drink in hand, for the A-list crowd, which included folks like Bono, Pete Wentz, John Mayer, Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon, Tommy Mottola, Taylor Swift, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, Justin Timberlake, Gavin DeGraw, Shania Twain, Clive Davis, L.A. Reid, Sheryl Crow, Adam Lambert and Justin Bieber!

Not a bad turn-out!!

Each year, New York’s resident hip-hop and R&B station Hot 97 hosts a Hot 97 Summer Jam! And this year, the performers were even more unbelievable than last: Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, T-Pain, Young Jeezy and The Dream were just a few!

Hot 97 also hosted a pre-Summer Jam Saturday night at Nokia Theatre, hosted by the incomparable Mary J. Blige!!!
