Music producer Phil Spector was found guilty today of second-degree murder in the shooting and killing of actress Lana Clarkson at his home in 2003.
Spector’s first trial, which began two years ago in April 2007, ended five months later after the jury could not reach a verdict.
This trial was slightly different, as the jury reached a verdict after deliberating for nine days.
Spector is best known for his production of the Beatles’ Let It Be and John Lennon’s Imagine, as well as the Righteous Brothers’ “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin.”
The producer 69, faces at least 18 years in prison and will be sentenced May 29.
