Rocker Melissa Etheridge played a concert aboard a Delta jet full of cancer survivors Tuesday afternoon to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation!!!
“I think I’ve joined some kind of mile-high club,” Etheridge joked.
The concert was part of Hard Rock Hotel’s PINKTOBER month, which Etheridge got involved with after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004. (Today, thankfully, she is in remission.)
“Raising awareness and raising funds for research: Those are two things that matter to me,” Etheridge said.
