Christina Aguilera Promises "Less Singing" on Next LP

January 7, 2010

Christina Aguilera sat down with Marie Claire to discuss her forthcoming March LP Bionic – and what the oversinger said might shock you.

“[I’m going] to allow myself to go to a place of less singing,” Aguilera told the mag. “I’m more vulnerable and more strong at the same time.”

Aguilera added that the first single off the record will be a Tricky Stewart-produced song called “Glam,” while other cameos will come from Flo Rida and Santigold. Other tracks, like “Lullaby,” were inspired by Aguilera’s two-year old son Max.

“[This album] is just about the future,” Aguilera says. “My son in my life, motivating me to want to play and have fun.”
