The Smashing Pumpkins are auditioning for a new drummer less than two weeks ago after the departure of Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin.

Jimmy Chamberlin Leaves Smashing Pumpkins

Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlain has left the band, according to a statement on their official site Friday.

Singer Billy Corgan is now the only original member, and he plans to “continue to write and record as Smashing Pumpkins,” the post says.

Is Billy really that hard to get along with???
