Remember Taylor Momsen‘s band, Pretty Reckless, that we told you was going on tour with the Veronicas???
Well, it seems T-Moms wanted to get some practice before she hit the road!!!
Pretty Reckless played their first ever show in NYC Tuesday night at the Annex, and all in all, judging by this vid, it wasn’t bad!!!
Momsen’s dance moves definitely leave something to be desired, but her voice is kind of grungy and rockin’!
Reminds us slightly of Iraheta.

Taylor Momsen isn’t the only Gossip Girl star interested in music!
Leighton Meester is reportedly taking the plunge as well.
Meester has hit the studio with producers Polow Da Don, Harvey Mason, Jr. and Spencer Nezey, to complete an electro-pop record due this fall.
This could go one of two ways!!!

A couple of weeks ago we told you that Taylor Momsen fronts a rock band.
Today, we bring news that that band is opening for the Veronicas on their upcoming tour!!
How perfect!!
Says the Taylor Momsen Network:
“The Support Acts for The Veronicas headlining shows have been announced. The Love Willows and Pretty Reckless will be hitting the road with the girls as they take to the stage in Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky and Ohio. More informations about the tickets and dates are coming soon…”

This explains so much!!!
Unbeknownst to us, Taylor Momsen is the frontlady/singer/songwriter of rock band Pretty Reckless, and when this season of Gossip Girl wraps up, she’s going on tour!
“I’m actually designing all of my costumes,” says Momsen, who also plays a young designer on GG. “It’s a rock band, so there’s not costume changes but there’s definitely a look.”
