New Moon Premieres in New York

November 22, 2009

We’re not going to sugarcoat it.

New Moon was one of the most painfully unwatchable movies we’ve seen in some time. The terrible acting, beyond-absurdity of one-liners (“You’re my only reason to stay alive… if that’s what I am.” LOL!) and pathetic neediness of protagonist Bella made us long for the hours we thought we lost during Couples Retreat.

But, alas, the biggest movie of the year premiered in New York. So who would we be to rob you (no pun intended), of photos?

Check out Kristen Stewart, Rob Pattinson and Taylor Lautner at the Cinema Society premiere Thursday night in New York, above.

They may not be able to act, but they sure are pretty!

Keeping Up With the Cullens

November 18, 2009

The five-bedroom Vancouver home where The Cullens lived in the Twilight and New Moon films is for sale.

For a mere $3.3 million, you get a half-acre estate, 5000 square-foot home, “sparkling pool,” (no pun intended), and a lifetime of Twilight memories!

Coincidence that it was listed on the market the week New Moon comes out??

New New Moon Scene Hits the Web

October 23, 2009

A new New Moon scene has hit the web, but unlike other blips we’ve showed you, this one spares us the Jacob/Bella/Edward love triangle.

The scene instead focuses on the Volturi – Twilight‘s “vampire royalty” – and they are creepy with a capital C!

“Felixxx.”

MTV Announces Movie Award Nominees

May 5, 2009

MTV has announced nominees for the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, with Twilight and Slumdog Millionaire at the front of the pack.

Twilight earned the most nominations with seven, including Best Movie, Best Female Performance (Kristen Stewart), Best Kiss, and Breakthrough Performance Male (Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner).

Slumdog Millionaire wasn’t far behind with six nods, including Best Movie, Breakthrough Performance Male (Dev Patel) and Breakthrough Performance Female (Freida Pinto).

We’re kind of most excited about MTV’s newest category, Best WTF Moment, for which nominees include Amy Poehler‘s sink piss in Baby Mama, Ayush Mahesh Khedekar toilet water frolick in Slumdog Millionaire, Angelina Jolie‘s curved bullet in Wanted, Jason Segel‘s nude breakup with Kristen Bell in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Ben Stiller tasting the head in Tropic Thunder.

High School Musical Wins Big at Kids’ Choice Awards

March 29, 2009

There were very few surprises at Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards last night. (With the exception of a smiling Cameron Diaz!)

Twilight nabbed the award for Favorite Book, High School Musical 3: Senior Year won Favorite Movie, and Vanessa Hudgens took home the award for Favorite Movie Actress.
Leonardo DiCaprio also made a cameo to accept the first ever Big Green Help Award for his contributions to the environment.
Said DiCaprio:
“We need all of you, the next generation, to take action. In fact, I bet someone watching this very show tonight will be a part of the solution to global warming.”
