Winter Antiques Show Debuts in New York

Poison Ivy felt privileged to sneak a peek at the 56th Annual Winter Antique Show benefiting the Bronx’s East Side House Settlement before it opened to the public Thursday.

With 75 exhibitors displaying collectibles from ancient Roman times to mid-century Modern, the Winter Antiques Show is the cream of the antiques crop!

From top: Paul Howard Manship’s “Monumental Vase” in Pink Tennessee Marble, assorted Sultepec masks and statues from 200 BCE, Aronson polychrome Delftware figurines, a Kentucky long rifle signed by William McClure (only $62,000!), Carswell Rush Berlin, Inc. mirror featuring yours truly, porcelain Japanesque clock c. 1870-80, and an English Regency games table by Phillip Colleck starting at $15,500.
